On Friday we started the class by finishing the "Bean Bag Drop" lab, some people are almost finished with it and and some not. Ms.Erfle showed us how to do the graph and she also helped us with other thing that we had to do. The way she explained how to finish the graph was like this:
1. That we have to have the date and title at top of our page (and our graph should be line graph)
2.That we should label X the time and the Y should be distance
3.Then we have to label the numbers on our X-Y
4.Then we have to graph the average on the
Thus are the way we had to finish the lab. The second thing we had to do for the graph was to answer some questions that related to the graph. If we finished every thing that was for the graph then we could move on to the next thing that it was find the speed with the average and the distance. We only had to show the formula-plug-chug once at the top of our page. After we finished finding the speed problems then we could move on to the last thing that we had to do for the lab was to finish conclusions. In conclusion there is 5 questions in that we have to answer. After that you could organize your lab not book.
(The lab should be finish on Thursday)

ReplyDeleteI think you started the post nicely and the font has a good size. I would would put in some more colors and explain how the lab actually works. You could have also given an example of an formula-plug-chug problem. Next time also include the person that will be scribing next.Good job altogether though!

You still need to check your grammar, and you could have explained what the questions for the lab were. You still don't have who the next scribe is, which is something you definitely need to put. Ghazaleh - this is much better blog post. You have now included some pictures to help with the layout and you have labeled it correctly. I would like you to add the date of this class in the title of this post, so readers will know when we had this class - Friday is too general. In your writing your spelling looks good, but your grammar could still be improved, and #4 under the graph steps just ends. Make sure to proof your work before you post. You still have not included any links, which is a requirement (especially to Moodle). Finally you did not write who the next scribe was to be. In the future be sure to follow all of the directions of the assignment more closely. BUT, this was a huge improvement over the first post of this topic. ~Ms. D.

ReplyDeleteI think your blog post is very good, and I think that your writing and grammar has improved greatly since last year! I thought the pictures were useful and your usage of color was good, not tto much. You could have maybe of used two different colors, just to divide up the writing. For example, you could have put the numbers in blck and the rest of the writing in pruplr, just so that everything is a bit separated. Another thing you should do before you post your blogs is check your grammar because it wasn't perfect, nd you could have added a link, if not anyting then to Moodle! All in all, your blog post was very good, and I think you included everything that happened during that class, I especially liked how you described what the graphs had to look like and what had to be on the x and y axes!

The pictures did fit and the font was good, but you could have included a litle more color and some things about how the lab works. The next time you should include who is the next scribe. Still I think it is a good post.

ReplyDeleteThis was a good job but there is room for improvement. First off there are no links, you could have put a link to a physics video mainly one on gravity. Also you did not include any science you could have said and equation for gravity or mentioned Newton's laws of motion. I also found many grammatical mistakes mainly you forgot to make things plural with the s at the end. But this was a good first attempt for the year.
